- Abstract
- Jay admits being remiss in writing. Writes now more out of inclination than a desire for consistency. Asks Livingston to attend the Legislature regularly and support the Governor. Asks him if he will come to Philadelphia to serve. Would like to see Robert's brother Ned come to Philadelphia as it would give him the further cultivation he needs. Wants to be useful to every lad of talents and cleverne ss.
