- Abstract
- Has restrained himself from writing Washington more often, not because his feelings toward the General have changed, but because he knows the General would take time from vital affairs of state to attend to this addition to his already overwhelming correspondence. Will resume their correspondence with the "Return of Tranquility." Admires the handling of Andre's case--is approved in Europe.
