Abstract
He wishes to resign from his office as Commissary General of Hides. Throughout his term in office he has suffered from an inadequate staff, and constant confusion through general officers making extraordinary arrangements for the manufacture of shoes from hides. He cannot be responsible for the losses and confusion of accounts that resulted from the latter practice.
