- Abstract
- Mr. Barrett visited; a dislike of the South prevented a long stay. Business has taken him (Sullivan) from "the western waters" to Charleston, from there will return to Franklin's state. Before bringing family, should come southward to secure land on the Tennessee River. Believes will soon have New Orleans.
