Abstract
The deponent says that Ramapo is all within the Saddle River Precinct. All persons named in Exhibit 45 are settled under New Jersey, because those living in and around Ramapo have taken leases from Judge Ryerson under the New Jersey Proprietors, and because they pay taxes to the government of New Jersey. The possessions mentioned in exhibit 49 have been held for over 40 years, and are the oldest of those mentioned in exhibit 45. The deponent remembers having heard of another line run somewhere in Ramapo. He also notes what he knows of the conditions under which land is held by persons mentioned in Exhibits C 45 and C 49. Signed, David Hennion, his mark. In Jay's hand.
