Title
[Document, 1769 August 25]
Abstract
Abraham Kool, 60 years old, resident in Tappan for 20 years, and after that near Tappan, is not interested in the outcome of the controversy. Kool did not see James Clinton run a line from the Hudson River, but a few days ago, Clinton told Kool that he had run a line from the Hudson, southward of Corbett's house, half a degree west of northwest, and about a rod northward of the Courthouse at Tappan . Kool has always heard old people say that Tappan was under the jurisdiction of New York. Signed by Abraham Kool. In Jay's hand.
