Ritzema states that he is acquainted with the records in Dutch in the Secretary's Office in the City of New York; that he is well acquainted with both the Dutch and English languages; that he has examined papers numbered II through IX, compared them with Dutch records and found them to be true copies; that he translated the said papers from Dutch to English.
