- Abstract
- Has heard little of her since her congratulations on Peter's marriage. Has hoped to have her daughters (the Miss Ridleys) come visit in Bedford but the weather has been horrible. Has had various complains of sickness since the influenza left him, including a bilious attack. Nancy can neither read nor write because of the condition of her eyes, which is a hardship at her age. Wishes she was there bu t seems a spell keeps her away. Regards to Mrs. Watkins; Susan and Nancy send their love.
