Peter has "hitherto no reason to doubt of his behaving well, as he is a youth reasonably sedate and is well disposed, but nevertheless, it's prudent to guard as much as possible, against the danger of bad company he would be exposed to in London, where he might probably be under no restraint, "further he should benefit from his apprenticeship to his cousin James de Peyter, who is a complete merchant," relative on business matters.
