Abstract
The deponent knows Mackhackamack, and the Neversink Kill, which runs through it and empties into the Delaware about a half mile southwest of Coles Fort. Jacob Westphal, Nicolas Westphal, Teunis Quick, and Cornelius De Doucher, who live three or four miles northeast of Coles Fort obtained their titles and paid taxes to New Jersey. The greater part of the inhabitants of the land along the Delaware fr om the mouth of Neversink Kill to Great Minisink Island obtained their titles and held land under New Jersey. The deponent believes that Peter Kuykendall and Anthony Westbook held their lands under New Jersey. Signed, Solomon Finch. In Jay's hand.
