Letter signed. Encloses (present) petition from Thomas Shuker to Congress 17 April 1780 and inventory of stores, etc., belonging to the Dover cutter, 15 April 1781. Jay forwards the documents at Floridablanca's request. Shuker and his men captured the cutter off Tenerife and took her into the Tenerife port of Santa Cruz in April 1780. Shuker and his crew have still not been allowed to sell their pr ize or leave Spanish jurisdiction.
