Appoints Walter Wharton, who is duly qualified, to be Surveyor General for the western side of the Delaware River in that part of the land under the government and protection of the Duke of York. From the New York Secretary's Office, Lib. Third Entries, 382 f. Certified by Goldsbrow Banyar. Entered before the Commission to settle the boundary between New York and New Jersey 31 July 1769.
