Autograph Letter signed in Spanish enclosing a copy of Jay's receipt for funds received from Gardoqui, 29 May. Jay's receipt lists funds received from Gardoqui at the order of the Court of Spain, 1 January, 28 February, 6 March, 28 April, and 9 May 1781. Jay used these funds to pay two bills drawn on him by Richard Harrison for clothing purchased at Cadiz and bills presented by courts of France and Spain to Congress.
