- Abstract
- Captain Bedlow, a trustworthy man, informed John Jay that Colonel Frees ofPoughkeepsie recently told him that a certain Morris Hazard bought flour for public use, and sold it a few days later at a great profit. Bedlow also informed John Jay that Colonel Palmer of Newburg told him of shady dealings by a commissary agent concerned with the purchase of cattle.
