The warrant sent from Clinton against Fletcher Matthews should have been made out for James Matthews, who should be served without delay. A warrant should also be served against William Forbes, a tanner and currier who lives near Goshen. He is said to be "a tall, dark complectioned man, with dark Eyes, wears a homespun Coat made of Thread & Cotton, or black & white mixed." Another warrant should be made out to "one Clarke, who has been a schoolmaster about Eight or nine Miles from Goshen. . . .
