- Abstract
- Received Bayard's of today, enclosing a memorial and proposed letter to Mr.Faulkner; to Bayard's question as to delivery of letter to Faulkner before the Lords Commissioners meet in three days, Jay suggests that Bayard request Faulkner to remind the Lords of the memorial, since more than three weeks have passed since its first presentation. Jay offers a correction in Bayard's draft letter to Faulkn er, altering the letter to drop the implication that the Lords have omitted to give an answer to the memorial.
