Americans wish success to the French revolution; opines that the French rational assembly might have gone too far to one "extreme." Expresses confidence in the new american government. Notes that Thomas Jefferson has become Secretary of State and the choice of his successor in France is uncertain. Happy that Grand and Gouverneur Morris are frequently together. DFD.
