- Abstract
- Assures Randall that he does not want to "hush up the matter" but acts in accordance with his principles. As both had agreed to put the matter before the judgment of other men Jay did not realize Randall expected a written response. Is willing to meet that evening with one or all of the men mentioned to settle the disagreement.
