- Abstract
- Has received Amherst's of 6 June, delayed his answer until speaking with Van Alen. Van A will send a survey of Amherst's lands. The inferior quality of the land is proven by the fact that there is not a single inhabitant on it. Advises against selling at this time. Presents respects to Lady Amherst; his son would also wish to be remembered to the family, but at present is at circuit courts.
