- Abstract
- Peter Jay hopes that Rev. Punderson can be inducted in the spring when the smallpox danger will be over. Colonel Willet, the church warden, has told Peter Jay that the late Rev. Wetmore gave the house and lot "in Trust for the use of the record of the Church at Rye and his Successors." Rev. Wetmore's son has changed his mind about moving out of the parsonage house, but Peter Jay wishes he "may thin k better of it," otherwise it will create a great disturbance.
