Abstract
The deponent said he heard from his father and other old people of Tappan, that about fifty years ago, Lucas Kierstead at first paid taxes willingly to New York, but that afterward, Kierstead allowed his goods to be seized rather than pay taxes to New York. Signed, John Guisbert Bogart.
