On the next page there is a Lewis Hine photo of a young girl sitting by the bedside of a sick man. Caption: SICKNESS - An unexpected Burden that increases the Family Misery. This photo is in the New York Publi c Library collection of Hine photographs. It is also in IMAGES, Journal of Photography and Motion Pictures of the George Eastman House, I957, No. 51, p. 117. Caption: "Girl and dying father, Nev York Tenement, 1910." At the beginning of the report, under List of Illustrations, is stated: "All pictures in this Report are from photographs specially made from actual scenes representing phases of the Association's work."
