Tennyson Beals The inscription on the tablet behind the little girl and baby says: The City of New York Devotes to the Service and Comfort of the ...This Ground Formerly Used by Trinity Parish As a Burial...the Dead Whose Names...Inscribed Are Hereby...Mmorated. Trinity Parish burial ground was "converted" into a park in 1898. At that time it was named Hudson Park, but in recent years it has been re-named James J. Walker Park (see #313).
