On page facing picture: Checking Up on His Improvement At Columbus Hill Health Center in a congested negro neighbor¬ hood of the City, A.I.C.P. maintains a staff of negro nurses and a nutrition ex pert to give immediate, practical help to mothers by protecting the health of their children and by advising them how to secure the most nourishment with their meagre funds. A similar service is rendered at Mulberry Health Center to an Italian neighborhood. A.I.C.P. maintains at both Centers medical and dental clinics in its further effort to promote neighborhood education in health standards, special emphasis is placed on preventive dentistry, maternity protection and the prevention of rickets.
