Mulberry Health Center Album -- Examination at Mulberry Community House
Abstract
#4358 From: Mulberry Health Center Album Unknown Photographer In "A.I.C.P. 1920", the Seventy-Seventh Annual Report of the AICP, 1919-1920, p. 13 top left. Caption: HEALTH CLINIC. Children in the tenements can't always be left to "jes' grow" - like Topsy - because often they grow the wrong way - if they grow at all. They need the study and care of the physician and especially the dietitian, and the ir progress must constantly be watched. This the A.I.C.P. is doing for many thousands of little children in the crowded districts. In AICP pamphlet "Building Up the Children of the Tenements," copyright 1920. Picture at what would be opposite page 2 if the pamphlet had page numbers. Caption: Examination at Mulberry Community House by the Children's Specialist.
