Stamped E. Stopff Interior of Battery Floating Bath. In the Jacob Riis collection at the Museum of the City of New York there is a similar picture of the East River Floating Bath, circa 1898. From the women's clothes and the uniform of the policemen a t the right, this would appear to have been taken at about the same time.
