#4356 From: Mulberry Health Center Album Unknown Photographer In "A.I.C.P. 1920", the Seventy-Seventh Annual Report of the AICP,1919-1920, p. 13 top right. Caption: HEALTH CLINIC. Children in the tenements can't always be left to "jes' grow" - like Topsy - because often they grow the wrong way - if they grow at all. They need the study and care of the physician and especially the dietitian, and the ir progress must constantly be watched. This the A.I.C.P. is doing for many thousands of little children in the crowded districts. (See over) #4356 (cont.) Used as "spot" on cover of AICP pamphlet "Building Up the Children of the Tenements," copyright 1920. In "A.I.C.P. 1922", the Seventy-Ninth Annual Report of the AICP, 1921-1922, p. 12 bottom. Caption: A worker at one of the health clinics tells a delighted little girl of her improvement through following rules of the clinic, and points out the upward trend on the chart. A perfect study of expression - pleased gratification and hopefulness.
