The Asian Scholarship Foundation under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (ASF) was the Ford International Partner in Thailand and administered the International Fellowships Program in Thailand since 2003. The program selected the total of 90 Fellows (82 master's fellowships and 8 doctorate fellowships) from the Northeast of Thailand. The IFP Alumni association in Thailand, IFP THAN, was formed in 2007. Since its inception, IFP THAN conducted and presented research on issues, particular to the Northeast, and has worked on expanding their partnerships and creating more impact at the community and national level.

The IFP office in Thailand was closed in 2013. 10 linear feet of paper records arrived in four installments, May-July 2013, and digital materials were received in July 2013. The materials include administrative program files, fellow files, audiovisual materials and archived websites. 73 Fellows gave their consent to open their materials for research access. The documents are in English and Thai.
