- Summary
- In considering Cooper's recommendation that a Master in Chancery be appointed resident in his county, and he would like to know who might be best qualified for the job. John Jay did not realize that Judge Williamson, who has been appointed a commissioner for the road alluded to, was first judge of Steuben. This objection will be taken into consideration. Future legislation on roads will be affected by the manner in which late appropriations have been used.
