Proclamation setting forth conditions which will require the quarantine of vessels arriving at New York. Pursuant to legislative authorization, John Jay proclaims quarantine for all vessels arriving from West Indies, islands in the Mediterranean, and any part of America south of Georgia. Place of quarantine fixed as Governor's Island.
