- A report circulating that some men of war are now at the Cape. Much speculation. Colonel Harrison has returned and has fitted out two vessels of some force. General Washington's letter tells of two more prizes being taken. The Virginians with their neighbors have made it convenient for Lord Dunmore to retire to his fleet. Norfolk again in their possession.
