- Summary
- Thanks him for the publication. Would like to have some broad tailed sheep if they would remain within stone fences, rails not being available to him. Tenants who occupied his farm left him without decent tress for rails. This condition has forced him to keep otter sheep, which have short, crooked legs and do not stray. Inquires about the character of a grain called speltz, cultivated by the Germans in Pennsylvania.
