Summary
Nothing has been done respecting the Tuscarora Indians, since an opinion prevails that the purchase of the Oneidas should first be completed. There is much speculation as to why the Dispatches were withheld from Congress until now. Either extracts or the whole should be published to counteract the many true and false stories now circulating about them.
