- Summary
- Eddy has inquired about the price at which John Jay would be willing to sell his property on Broadway near the hospital. This ground consists of two parcels. The greater part, nearest the hospital, is an inheritance and not for sale; the smaller part of six acres he would sell for a "competent Consideration." After he has heard the sum which the prospective buyers are willing to pay the negotiations can proceed if it comes near his own price. Due to the fever at New York he will remain at Bedford until the spring but would be glad to see Eddy there if convenient.
