- Glad you arrived safely after the Confederacy failed. From what "I heard in Spain" you should have success and hope you can make a treaty with same. Thanks to Bilbao and Cadiz your communication from home will be better than ours--let us know advice received. As for peace, "It seems to be the will of Heaven that the English should have Success enough to lead them on to final Destruction." Late advantages have intoxicated them.
