- Summary
- Suspects the Governor will issue writs of election for a new assembly. He feels the Tories may be elected because the attention of the people is diverted to the Provincial and Continental Congresses. Suggests that the four delegates to the Continental Congress (Livingston, Alsop, Lewis and Jay), stand for election to the Assembly from the City and County of New York. This will insure their election for a majority of the people are Whigs.
