- Copy. Rayneval has sent him a list of supplies needed by Congress, but since it is an old list he does not know whether the items listed are still required. Suggests that one third of the amounts listed be procured. At present there is no need for gunpowder, but there is a need for fusils and flints. These supplies can go with the fleet. [The letter must be compared with the list, as Benjamin Franklin marks several items on the list, but does not mention them in the letter.]
