- Summary
- Adams' sentiments concerning the Massachusetts insurrection have proved to be just. New York instructed its delegates to move in Congress for a Convention, as the feeling prevails that such a Convention should be called with Congress' approbation. New York has modified its severities to the Tories, and they may soon be restored to citizenship. "... the Treasury is empty tho' the country abounds in Resources."
