- Summary
- Wishes to know if William's eyes have fully recovered; astonished that none of them enjoys perfect health. Thought the pain in Maria's breast had ceased and she had only some facial pain. His own rheumatism has subsided but has had a bilious attack. Did not have Peter, Mary and the Ridley girls to visit last week because of the weather. If Aunt Livingston wishes to come from New York, John Jay will send the carriage for her. As life is so uncertain, hopes Maria will have the blessings of a comfortable life.
