- News of his travels in Italy. Variant copy of document 6109. Writes from Leghorn. Two ship is will sail tomorrow for Baltimore, and he will send a letter by each. Traces route to Rome, Naples, Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Perugia, Spoletti, and Bari. Will send cask of marsala to Munro. Health better in Leghorn. May go to Paris with Dr. Seaman not only because of his "great desire" to see that city but because he believes travel there will be less expensive than remaining in Italy.
