- Summary
- If nice weather, Samuel, William and Bill shall set out tomorrow. Sent tobacco by Samuel. As for PeterÆs upcoming journey, he should bring apples and whatever else his physicians think would be conducive to his health and comfort. Is Mrs. Judith WatkinÆs receipt for the money from General Clarkson in the black trunk? Is sending down two bank books; give Samuel 100 pounds from that so John Jay can pay his workmen. Winter is approaching; but should not forget about the quality of accommodations etc. for PeterÆs visit in the haste of leaving. Hopes he returns from his trip in perfect health.
