- Summary
- Plans to come to Albany for the commencement of the term of courts. Sir James has claimed a debt of about 1,000 pounds from the estate of Frederick Jay; the trustees are divided as to its validity and much trouble has resulted. As the result of a conversation mentioned in yesterday's paper, Dr. Romayne attacked and beat Mr. B. Winthrop and was himself later beaten. While in White Plains, Peter was admitted in the county court; little business was done.
