- Personal business news. Knows nothing of the "Canal company's" management. Has purchased at John Jay's direction a ticket in the third lottery for the promotion of literature. The Council of Appointment has not met as was intended; will instead convene sometime in June. The annual meeting of the Bible Society was held yesterday. The Supreme Court adjourned for the purpose and all the judges were there. More money is required for the assessments; encloses a bond to the Corporation which John Jay is to execute. Two page manuscript and two page typescript.
