- Family news. Encloses copies of the following letters: William and Ben. Prince, 12 November 1812 - are sorry John Jay had been unfortunate in the grape vines they sent him. Discussion of various types of grapes. Propose to send some of the Boston white grape in the spring, and also any of Bland's grape from Philadelphia. Theodore Sedgewick, Jr., 12 November 1812 - report on John Jay's share of trust money from the estate of Peter Dubois. The whole amount is now in John Jay's name since he was executor of Mr. and Mrs. Chambers. John Rutherford, 9 November 1812 -relative to the value of the farm occupied by Petit in Newton. Would not ask less than $40 or $50 per acre considering various aspects of the land and township.
