- Advises him to enclose his letters with those sent by R. R. Livingston and R. Morris from Philadelphia. "... there seems to be a spell on your letters-..."Keep Peter with the family, and do not let him return to Elizabethtown-consult Mr. Benson concerning a good safe place for him to stay, that will be near to the family. In managing the family finances keep good account of expenditure and do not buy on credit. Is gratified to hear of the sale of the carriage-in such bad times there is no need to retain such a pleasurable conveyance. Sarah is expecting a child in the next few weeks. (Maria)
