Summary
Family news. Hopes his children will be well-versed in the science of "living agreeably and comfortably here, and happily hereafter." The first includes the maxim, "Never to buy any thing at too great a Price." To look at objects through our passions is like seeing through colored glass, which paints what is viewed in its own, and not in the true color.
