Summary
Little news to report, but John Jay will continue to write, as Nancy's eyes hurt when she makes the effort. His rheumatism is better now. Peter was in New York, William has gone back to New Haven. The weather has been cool; continued frost has cost them much of their early fruit. Sally's hen has been killing the chicks of others; they have her confined.
