- She is anxious to hear from him since she heard of the bad weather and the influenza epidemic at Hartford. General Washington has gone to Long Island to spend a week. Last Thursday she and the girls visited with Mrs. Washington, and spent a full day with her. The entire group went to General Morris' home at Morrisania, and Mrs. Washington insisted they stay with her for supper upon their return to New York.
