United States--History--Revolution, 1775-1783; Jay, John, 1745-1829
Summary
Is glad John Jay has a recess from Congress, but wishes he had been able
to stay longer to see his brother. Wishes his brother and wife were more fortunate and
were back in Fishkill. Remember her to his father, Nancy and Peter. Their little Peter
is in excellent health and just gave Sarah Livingston Jay a kiss for his
papa.
