Summary
Dyckman's return to Esopus offers a safe conveyance. At present SLJ has a "great cold in my head" but no rheumatism symptoms. Happy to receive Jay's letter informing her of his safe destination. She regrets the claim of public affairs on him. Frederick Jay reports Peter recovered from his illness.
